Thai Express (T3)

Most of the Saturday, we will have lunch at Changi Airport after hubby finished his work. Xin Wang and Earl Swensen are our usual choice. Yesterday we had a change, we try out Thai Express. (Because I was having mood swing and need some dessert)

From the name we know it serve Thai food and it is a casual resturant.

These are what we had;

Thai Fried Squid
Appetizer - Thai Fried Squid

Fresh crispy fried squid coated with sweet and sour sauce. Crispy on the outside, soft fresh squid inside.

Redbean Milkshake

Lime Rose Drink
The Lime Rose Drink I had have a very nice bright red color and look like very sweet but it taste sour. And the lime fragent is very strong too. To me, it look like rose drink, but taste like lime juice.

Noodle with Beef Slice
Hubby had Stick noodle with sliced beef in beef broth. The beef broth smell nice, and the beef slice is cooked just right.

BBQ Talay - BBQ seafood platter with spicy chilli padi and lime dip
BBQ Talay
I had BBQ Talay - BBQ seafood platter with spicy chilli padi and lime dip.
The seafood they use are fresh; fish when I cutting it to bite size it don't break up into many small pieces, the prawn is crunchy even the shell can be eaten, the squid is tender. The most important is the spicy and sour dip, it just make the whole dish perfect.

And we end our meal with two signature Thai dessert; Red Ruby and Steam Tapioca. (the reason we are here)

Tub Tim Krob - Thai red ruby with sweet coconut ice-cream
Don't the red ruby look nice? It was water chestnut coated with tapioca flour. Chewy on the outside and the water chestnut inside is crunchy and sweet. And it make me smile right away.  :-D   Coconut ice cream is like a bonus for me.

Man Cheam - Steamed sweet tapioca with coconut milk
Warm sweet tapioca and the fresh coconut milk is just a pefect match. Double smile from me. :-D

Nice afternoon being at Thai!

PS: Because of me choose 2 dessert, hubby have to for go his choose of dessert. Thank you darling.
